Pathways Nursery school believes in allowing children to lead lessons in terms of questions they ask and in interests that they may have. We learn through play, fun, and exploration in a hands on and practical manner.
Science experiments are often done as these offer a unique understanding and insight into themes and questions we may be trying to find answers to as a group. We use natural materials as often as possible in our creative, fine motor and perceptual activities as these offer sensory rich experiences and are multi facade.
Staff and pupils collaborate daily on topics and have thus built very strong bonds and relationships. Everyday children will be given the opportunity to create, sing, dance, run and climb all revolving around the theme for the week. This in turn gives a well-rounded and holistic understanding of the theme. From Grade RR, children will learn number and letter concepts through art, games, movement and songs.
